Letter of Interest
To the City Council of Waterville, This letter is to inform the Council members of my desire to fill the vacant Ward four seat on the City Council. I returned to Maine seven months ago after serving my country in the Navy as an Electronic Technician and completing my Psychology degree at Purdue University. During my tenure in the Navy and my experience at Purdue, I garnered invaluable leadership experience. I received numerous commendations while in the Navy and maintained 100% operability of the Flight Deck Communications system onboard the USS Kearsarge while deployed to the Gulf during Operation Iraqi Freedom. I served as the Undergraduate Representative on the Veterans Task Force and aided in drafting a report to the University Chancellor outlining the needs of student veterans.
